Derin ‘Dr Caise’ Phillips is widely known as a ‘ Special Advisor to all Creatives’, delivering a unique perspective on the Creative Economy, Financial empowerment and Real Estate Data.
A multiple award-winning creative who has gained a reputation for his unique approach to helping people achieve their goals and transform their lives, he is a member of APON Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals in Nigeria and Director in Pinetree group of companies.
Dr Caise is an astute Business Leader and Technocrat with professional experience in developing and implementing business growth strategies, engineering process optimisation and operational effectiveness, and championing healthy financial decision making. He is the Founder and CEO of Wavis Investment Ltd and CM Entertainment Ltd.
Dr Caise is also the President of United Africa Dj’s Association and founder of the ACE Creative Academy. He is an established DJ and pioneer of the "Gidi House" music genre. Caise gained international recognition and accolades, paving the way for a generation of enlightened entertainers to grow in the DJ Industry.
As an ardent social worker & activist - He is the host of a bi-monthly community development platform under the #ACTSOFLOVE Campaign, that seeks to bring people together to discuss and share knowledge and experiences on subject matters that aren’t commonly discussed, though they affect our lives daily.

Dr Caise (pronounced Case) is one of the most exciting and innovative Nigerian entertainers to ever grace the turntables. The Award-winning Entertainer is a DJ, Producer, Songwriter and Remixer who fuses local and international sounds, cutting and blending to create an eclectic mix and mash that he calls Gidi House Music, pulling on everything from funky house to afrobeat, basement to R&B, old school Naija Jams, piling up the pressure on the dance-floors of the Nigerian capital and beyond, serenading audiences across Africa and on to the UK and US. He's known for a series of hit tracks featured on his album Gidi House Mafia, and his Sounds of Ghana and Sounds of South Africa mixes. He's appeared at the MTV Africa Music Awards, represented Nigeria as in-house DJ on Big Brother Africa.
He has performed at UK's and Nigeria's most prestigious nightclubs and entertained a variety of audiences from around the world. His unique and inventive style has enabled him to perform alongside several of the music industry's leading artists. This extensive resume includes tours and video appearances with Dbanj, and the Mo hits all-stars, P-Square, 2face, Naeto C, Lynxx, Sasha, Sauce kid, Donaeo (UK artist) and more.
Caise’s talent has earned him the well-deserved name “Celebrity DJ” as he furthermore produced hit tracks such as “International’’ and “Flashback vs. Implication mash-up” which currently enjoy regular airplays on radio and have topped several charts. DJ Caise has been selected amongst many other djs for great shows such as (MTV Africa Music Awards; MAMA 2010), (Soundcity Music Video Awards; SMVA 2010) Big Brother Africa’s Nigeria guest DJ, (BBA All Star 2010 and BBA Amplified 2011) Big Brother Africa All Stars Winners Party, Glo Naija Sings Winners Party, Lagos State Governor’s Independence Day Ball, The Christian Audigier Wine and Champagne Launch (Lagos), Asa On The Green, Beat 99.9 FM Launch Party and many more.
